flea market

6 September 2013

Amongst all the wedding ring making, dispatching, workshop renovating and running after our now 'toddler', we did manage to squeeze in a last minute trip to Ardingly Antiques market in Sussex.
We needed some kind of shelves and storage for our workshop...so we were mainly on the look out for furniture. We ended up stuffing 8 pieces of random furniture in our camper van. Everything we bought was so cheap, EXCEPT we splashed out on a 1950s Swedish rocking chair for our home. However we were spending the money we made in the Jumble Sale for our renovation project, and we had a bit left over ; )

This is my best 'nosey but trying to look casual' pose.

our tot got a free flower pot.

Unfortunately the only photos of what we bought are on my iPhone and I haven't downloaded them yet. I'll show you some of them in situ in our workshop next week (hopefully!).

  2. I may be imagining things, but do you have to pay to go in to the Ardingly market? I've been wanting to go for a while...just need to save a few more pennies I think! xxx
