So this is the flat we moved to this spring. Its rented and its in East Dulwich {south east London}, a Victorian semi-detached, ground floor flat with garden too. Its a little bit bigger than our last flat but not much - it still only has one bedroom, so our babe will have to squeeze in somewhere.
The enamel bucket next to the cupboard {above} is my new nappy bin! I have a few more baby stuffs in that corner, waiting for the autumn.
Our bedroom is blue, which we initially hated, its like a baby blue, yuck! But now that we have put our things in there...its kind of grown on me. We'll hopefully only be living here for a year as we'd like to buy a place of our own if we ever find anything nice.
I have a HUGE maternity pillow under that duvet {below} which is bigger than me and Plimsoll thinks it is for her.
Husbondo's corner...
So that's it! I would show you the kitchen and bathroom but they are a bit messy ; )
Hi Artemis. Have you ever considered moving to/bringing your baby up on the Isle of Wight? I guess it's too far from your business? - Elvis
ReplyDeleteWow so lovely! I live in forest hill, and have rented the same place for the last 5 years, but somehow I can't ever make it look as chic as this! I have this feeling that my place always looks rented, whereas yours looks like a proper home, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe floors are stunning! IT looks like you went right away into making it cute and homey. I wish I had that design ability!
ReplyDeletelove the pub sign!
ReplyDeleteThe flat already looks like it is your home - love it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, love the floor!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great collection of bits and bobs! x
Your place is wonderful -- and that is a lovely uke that you have on the wall!
ReplyDeleteIt's so lovely - happy weekend
ReplyDeleteA ♥
Your place is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bright space :) Also love the fox cushion!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely :) xxx
ReplyDeleteyou have very nice wooden floors!
ReplyDeleteThe diaper bin made me want to ask if have you decided whether you will be using disposable or cloth diapers?
I am a huge advocate for cloth diapers as they are so much more environmental, economical, safer (no nasty chemicals like in disposable diapers), AND because they are so much cuter than disposable diapers :)
(also they can be a great DIY project!)
You have such a wonderful life :D
ReplyDeleteI love your new home and especially the fox cushion. Did you make it... or could please you tell me where it's from?
ReplyDeleteDid you move your sheds/workplaces with you? Stunning flat btw x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully decorated flat. So much personality but looks so light and open, lovely!
ReplyDeletebeautiful space!
ReplyDeleteEast Dulwich is a pretty nice area. When our daughter was born we "squeezed" on a one bedroom flat and no garden near where you live now, we had to be very organised (not true it was chaos most of the time).
ReplyDeleteYour home is full of pretty treasures, my eyes wonder happily from one thing to another!
la classe!!! :-)
Lovely apartment!

shhh my darling stationery
Love the new flat and East Dulwich is very nice too. Like the nappy bin. I'm pregnant too and was thinking of using an old bread bin but then thought they usually have tiny holes in where some wayward smell could escape from so something like you've got is a good idea. Anything but the horrible plastic ones anyway!
ReplyDeleteAaah, the new flat is lovely - I have massive floor envy, we're in a rental in Portsmouth where every landlord seems to be obsessed with awful carpets, ugh. I always find your home-y posts so inspiring - you have some cracking ideas!
ReplyDeleteYour place looks so homey and cute. We just moved in into East Dulwich as well. Thanks for reminding me about it. I'm glad we started looking over here and I love the place we found. We were at the Saturday market last weekend when I saw Nao's FB post of you in front of the cafe and your cute car last weekend. Maybe we could meet for tea sometime soon :)
ReplyDeleteYou new flat is lovely and very homely. How nice it is that you get sunshine streaming onto your bed.
ReplyDeleteLooks so lovely and I LOVE the fox cushion!
