Fowey - Cornwall

25 July 2014

Our last day in Cornwall. Last year we had a lovely time in Polruan and Fowey, so we decided to spend a bit of time mooching around, looking and shops, having some lunch and take another boat trip! this time down the river Fowey.

the most desirable residence I have ever seen!

the littleun had a toddler sized pasty in a little passage near the water, it wasn't long before we had some friends...

So thats the end of our holiday adventure posts, I hope they haven't been too boring...I just want to have these posts as a diary of what we did.

Happy times x.

  3. Boring? Absolutely not! Beautiful photos and your posts are so evocative of childhood holiday memories.

Hope someone is watering your lovely garden while you are away! Think you would like astrantia and euphorbia if you don't already have them btw.

PS Watched a documentary about your neck of the woods in London. Think it was called Diamond Geezers and Gold Dealers. Quite interesting although thought it would be better than it was.

  6. Thank you for bringing back so many wonderful memories. I loved my time in Cornwall, Polruan and Fowey. Makes me all the more eager as October nears when I fly back to Yorkshire. I may be just across from you on the mainland for two months come winter!!! Thank you as always for your lovely post.

  7. Very nice! You actually made me consider a trip over Cornwall myself when our little campervan is finished next year. If you like this you should visit a little town in Croatia called Rovinj (maybe a bit far for you guys?)Ki

    Kind regards

  9. Boring?! Are you kidding! You're posts are beautiful and inspiring. We're in the thick of winter here at the moment (in nz) and have been suffering from cabin fever... your blog is such a good form of escapism! xx

  10. Just like taking a little holiday (without the 24 air flight!) and just the thing to brighten up my winters day in the hills of Macedon, Australia.

  12. How can your posts be boring when the photos evoke such emotions either felt by yourselves or a stirring of longing in your readers. Beautiful photos yet again.
