...and the sun came out

.
such a lovely sunny day here in London. We went to Westminster Abbey but I wasn't allowed to take any pics, so you'll just have to take my word for it, that it was pretty spectacular.
Also, this is my haircut! Not that dramatic, but its a lot shorter and with lots of layers in it. I did it myself as you can probably tell. I am allergic to hairdressers {from bad past experiences when they made me look like an 1980s Tina Turner}. I used to have really short hair through most of my twenties, and although I'd like it short again, I know i will regret it once its cut. Anyhow, I have learnt to compromise in my thirties, so I'll go half way.

  2. I love your hair - you are very clever to cut it yourself. I haven't been in a hairdressers for years but my friend cuts mine and I'm thinking of going a little shorter like you. Will probably bottle out at the last minute. Spring's on it's way slowly - horrible January has almost gone. Lovely flowers by the way. Karen X

  7. Love daffies... we have some at home too and they just seem to make everything feel sunnier. And the haircut looks lovely, so wouldn't have guessed you did it yourself (an extra talent!) :)

  8. Hello, love the new hair length. I always cut my own hair also after 2 bad hairdresser experiences. I always treat myself to something nice once I cut it with the money I saved.
