london wetland centre

i had heard of the London Wetland centre before, but didn't really know what it was all about {except it was probably wet}. So, with a spare day up our sleeves, we drove over to south west London, and went exploring...

it was a huge space filled with lovely wild foliage and ponds and lakes and ducks, and ducks and ducks...

during our wanderings, we came across a little log cabin, someone must have been reading my mind, cause this is my dream home.

hmm Goldilocks?
We founds some incredible species, and we loved watching the little chicks bob about in the water.

ahhh, a most delightful day. except for the low flying aircraft, you would not believe you were in london!

  1. I cannot believe that is in London - shame about the aircraft noise though.

  2. Your dream home is looking a bit sparse there Artemis...But I'm sure if you had all your treasures happily esconced it would be lovely.

Plimsoll would have a glorious time assisting the birds with landings, take-offs and noise making.

  3. It looks like such a lovely place, you'd never ever guess it was in the middle of London! I love your dress/skirt, where did you get it from? xxx

  4. Oh! The elderflower's blooming out already where you are! Means they will in Denmark soon too. Got some plucking and cordial-making coming up soon then, yay!

  5. Hello,
just discovered your blog this afternoom! Loved reading about your wedding, your dress was amazing, love what you did to it after too!
Have a fantastic bank holiday weekend!

  6. This looks perfect! Definitely a dream home.
