hughenden manor

this is the inside of Hughenden Manor, home of British Prime minister Benjamin Disraeli.
I'm not sure whether Ben and I would have been chums, as he did start off the Tory party, but I did thoroughly enjoy poking about his house.
The first pic is in Queen Vicky's guest bedroom. 

that shell pin cushion reminds me of our wedding ring box!

we luckily landed on a sunny day! we were pretty knackered after the car boot sale, so after a quick tour of the house, we spent the rest of the day sampling tea and cake from various establishments and sleeping in the sun!
