  10. How lucky you must feel... all my life I have wanted a typing machine. Mom was a secretary and I loved visiting her office. Instead, I got my first computer to work on, not play, age 11...a pretty amazing Amstrad but not as romantic.
    Love your post. Xx

Hiya, I have lived in Plumstead, for 8/9 years - it's very suburban and you are very much at the mercy of BR as a bus takes 1-2 hours to get to the west end and there's no tube. Easy to get out to Kent and south coast though. I felt stuck in a kind of suburban limbo that was neither proper countryside or properly London. Am now in Nunhead, and so much happier!

  12. Thanks catinthehat!

Yes thats exactly how we'd imagined it! Good to know the truth...

how funny you moved to Nunhead...we currently live right next to it, and have been looking for places there too...however we could only afford a flat as apposed to a house, but maybe its better to like there area rather than the space eh!

many thanks for you help x
