books in frames...

...so, as I was saying a couple of posts ago, I've been collecting picture frames from charity shops and markets...then I painted them with white paint, and voilĂ ! Framed books!
Some of my book collection are just too lovely to be stacked on a shelf, so I had this idea.

I found a box frame, but I know that you can buy these from Ikea, so next time I'm there, I shall be stocking up on them! Now I just need to find a house to put them in.

  5. I think this is a great idea. How did you mount the books without spoiling the back? xx

  8. It is a good idea, and so pretty it was. And a book with Heidi, it will fit very well to your wall ;-)

  9. I love this idea! would be so sweet for a kids room too — create a gallery wall with framed books (all the fantastic classics.)

  10. I'm in to framing too - Ikea's box frames are great for displaying unusual, "thick" finds. Special indeed!
